FFT appoints G4S Exec as new Global Sales and Marketing Director

  • Mark Horton appointed to drive FFT global sales strategy

Future Fibre Technologies Limited (ASX: FFT), a global leader in fibre optic intrusion detection systems, today announced that former G4S executive Mark Horton has been appointed Global Sales and Marketing Director. Mark will commence in this new role at the end of June 2016.

As Global Sales and Marketing Director, Mark will lead the FFT sales team and focus on the implementation of the company’s global growth strategy across the perimeter, pipeline, network and distribution markets.

Based in Dubai, Mark is a UK National with nearly thirty years experience in the electronic security sector across a variety of markets including Europe, MENA and Asia Pacific. Having initially joined the industry in a technical role, Mark quickly progressed through operational, project management and consultancy roles to business development, strategy, and sales. Mark has held a number of senior positions in the security industry most recently as the Regional Sales Director Middle East for G4S plc where he had responsibility for developing a diverse portfolio of security & FM joint ventures with a total revenue of USD $1bn with a focus on developing the groups regional and global technology strategies.

In line with its growth strategy and to capitalise on growing security needs globally, , FFT continues to expand its international sales team. In recent months, the company has established a new sales office in Brazil and appointed additional sales resources in Singapore and Vietnam.
