IOCL Ennore is the first LNG import terminal on the east coast of India and expected to promote industrial growth in the region. Regasified LNG from the terminal will be distributed to power and fertilizer plants, as well as other industrial sites. The LNG will also be made available for city gas distribution and used within the transport and commercial sectors, and domestic use for cooking via piped natural gas.
