FFT Aura Ai-2 has been selected to protect critical pump stations on a long distance oil pipeline in Europe, replacing the existing electrical copper cable based intrusion detection solution.
Aura Ai-2’s cable cut resilience, as well as its proven reliability in harsh environments, were key to the recent contract win.
FFT’s on-ground technical capabilities and proven track record with similar installations in the region were also important factors considered highly by the customer.
It is expected that as new perimeter extensions come online, FFT Aura Ai-2 will continue to play a central role in mitigating intrusion threats at this high value asset.
