Future Fibre Technology (FFT) has secured a contract from a long-term, energy sector customer who has elected to upgrade its current FFT intrusion detection system to the latest generation Aura Ai-X technology. Aura Ai-X will deliver state-of-the-art site security, safeguard critical infrastructure and support expansion of this critical natural gas terminal. This contract win was announced to the ASX and Ava Group shareholders on 20 December 2023.
With the existing liquefied natural gas terminal and regasification facility among the largest LNG facilities in the world, the refinery is undergoing a large-scale expansion of to include liquefaction and export capabilities. This requires security solutions that safeguard critical infrastructure and operations, as well as prevent unauthorised access, tapping and tampering within the site.
Over the next 12 months, the customer will upgrade to Aura Ai-X and FFT’s deep learning subscription service, ATLAS – underscoring the customer’s commitment to enhanced resilience, efficiency and security within their operations.
